[After the events of a week and a half ago, Cloche got herself out of the clinic that she was inevitably brought to, and has been hiding out in her room. After trying to remember what happened, she can only remember bits and pieces of that day. The other reyvateils left and... then she had an outbreak. People tried to help, she's sure of that. But how much hurt did she cause?

She'll open up her journal and write a short message.]

I'm sorry. If I hurt anybody too badly, I'm so sorry.

[She knows at least one person won't see that message. That just makes her feel worse, knowing that someone went home without her properly apologizing to him. It can't be helped, and for now, Cloche will stay where she is.]

I'm in my room. I left the clinic.

I'll be there soon, Cloche.

[With that, he'll close the journal and head out. It'll take him a bit to get there. He doesn't run or anything, taking time to collect his thoughts. He was pretty sure what happened was some kind of shift. To him, it was the only explanation for it. But he wanted to talk to her about it anyway now that she was back in her right mind.

When he finally reaches her room, he knocks quietly on the door.]

[After a few moments, the door opens and Cloche peeks out from behind it. It's a little mousey, but she'll at least speak up once she's sees him.]

H-hello.

[He gives her a gentle smile when she greets them.]

Hey. [And he'll try to lighten the mood.] Don't worry, I won't bite.

R... right. [She'll let him in of course; once he's in she'll shut the door. She's a little on edge right now, mainly because... what does she do? He's not angry, nor is he telling her she's a bad person.]

Sorry. For kicking you. You know.

[Adell winces thinking about that.]

...Don't worry about it. It's all right. You were just trying to defend yourself.

I wasn't exactly thinking straight. It's... been a very long time since that's happened to me.

That's happened before? [Now he looks surprised.] ...What exactly was it, Cloche?

...those girls you got me away from. The I.P.Ds. I think they caused it. Reyvateils aren't fully human. [This is awkward to explain.] And I- we're- different from normal reyvateils as well.

[He nods.]

So you and the I.P.Ds are special even among Reyvateils. I'm guessing that means it comes with its own set of problems?

But how could they have caused something like that? They weren't looking to do you harm or anything, just get your autograph and fangirl over you.

I think it happened when they went back to their own enclosure. They were all angry or upset. I don't know how much you might know about a reyvateil, but in my case and in the case of I.PD's we're all connected at a subconscious level. We're flawed in the fact that when one or more has an extreme emotional outburst of anger or sadness, it causes one or more to have what we call an I.P.D outbreak. Mine was a positive reaction. They were angry or upset and it all overrode my own emotions.

If... that makes any sense. That's the best way to explain it.

Well, I don't really know much about reyvateils. The only one I really got to know before you was Tyria, and she was... odd. And she didn't explain too much about them.

But I think I understand: You and the other I.P.Ds share some kind of empathetic bond. And when those girls got separated from you, they got really pissed... and that transferred into you.

And with that many I.P.Ds expressing negative emotion at once... it must've been completely overwhelming.

I suppose you could think of it that way. It's a little deeper than that, but that's probably the best way to explain it. I can feel if they're sad, or scared, or mad, but all at once is... overwhelming, yes. Like all of their voices screaming directly into your head, for lack of a better analogy.

[Sigh. It's been so long since the last time, too. She had been doing so good!]

All of us have this disease. It's... curable, but... the way to cure it is... [--ugh] ...outlawed. Well. Sort of. [She was working on that.]

Outlawed? This sounds like a pretty serious problem. If all I.P.Ds are interconnected and they all start feeling negative emotions, wouldn't it be possible that all of them could spiral into an outbreak like what happened to you? Worse yet, the more revyateils that outbreak, wouldn't it be harder and harder to stop?

Why the hell would someone outlaw the way to fix a serious and potentially dangerous problem? Is the cure dangerous as well?

It's not too dangerous, but...

[There's a pause. This is... weird. She's been through this already with Luca, but telling someone else this?]

I was the one who signed it into law. But please, don't misunderstand. It's not because I wanted to. I didn't want to. I may be the face of the Grand Bell, the one who is the Holy Maiden, but I never write any of the laws. I've tried, and I've been told I can't do it.

[There's surprise clear on his face when she says that, but after that brief moment, he gets it together.]

You were forced into it, weren't you? Some kind of political thing?

Yes, that's correct. I've seen it work, and I want it to work. It's... long to explain, but the one that was really in charge wanted them to have breakouts. The more they did, the more they captured, the closer he came to achieving Metafalica. In his own mind, at least. I don't think that's the way, and I've tried to present it to him, but it's never enough.

[Sigh.] They can still fall victim to it, but the chance of that happening is actually very slim after Dive Therapy.

Anyway, I usually don't have an outbreak like that. I'm usually the one who feels it but spreads it instead.
