I never knew that having breakfast made for someone would be so good! I don't think I've ever had food like that anyway back in Pastalia! Touma, why aren't you a professional? Why aren't you a chef?! I'd hire you in a second! I need to repay for this, I need to do something in return!

[Actually cooking things is going to be radically difficult without any recipe cards from home, but Cloche is determined to try to do anything to repay her demands of Touma. Cloche will be out and about the village today; her first stop is going to be getting warmer clothes for herself, but she's reeeeeaaaaaaallllllllly picky in her choices.

Her next stop is going to be the library for any sort of books on her subject. She'll be there for a while too.

Once she finds something good and a few good books for cooking things from, she's going to be headed over to actually take the food she needs for experimenting in her home as well the necessary tools.

Home though... well, she'll be there for a while. Possibly with burning food, windows open, and her trying not to burn too much and/or start a fire.]

That's right. It's very important, too. Being a fellow cook, I can tell you the secret.

[Mun thinks he's trolling her. Mun finds it hilarious.] What? What is it? Whatever it is, I have to know it, at any cost!

[Voice]

[identity profile] kamiyandisease.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
..... [If she saw his face, he would be looking dead serious.] It's love.

[Voice]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
L-love...? Does that mean that went into my food that you made me? [Well it kind of makes sense, and after all, she wouldn't be trying to make what she's making for him taste amazing if she didn't like him, friend or otherwise.] But... that can only go so far, right? I could pour love into what I'm making now and have it turn out terrible. I wouldn't feed that to anyone.

[Voice]

[identity profile] kamiyandisease.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Awwwyis it's HEROIC SPEECH time.] You need to believe in yourself more! I wasn't great at cooking either whenever I started out, but practice had made perfect! And never underestimate the power of the heart, Cloche-san. Whenever you eat homemade food compared to fast food, I'll tell you that homemade food will always taste better than fast food. Why is that? It's because there's something that's put into cooking created in the confort of your house over cooking on a simple fry cooker. That's the difference between someone who cooks with love over someone who doesn't.

Besides, even if your cooking looked terrible, I would still eat it and I'll bet that it would still taste good.

[Voice]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
[Well then. She can agree about one thing at least:] The food you made for me... it was better than what was made for me at the Grand Bell. But, I don't think I'd eat the things I've made thusfar. I don't think I'll give that to you just yet. I want it to be good tasting, even if it doesn't look all that great. I'll- I'll keep trying! [Might be that praise issue she has, but she'll keep trying for approval and an accomplishment that she's done herself, especially for someone who is encouraging her in a positive way.]

[Voice]

[identity profile] kamiyandisease.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Cloche-san... [He's really used to working hard for others, but it feels different to see that someone else is working hard for his sake. He can't help, but turn a little red at that.] Just remember not to push yourself too hard, okay? If you get sick or something, then I would have to take care of you.

[Voice] HIS MANLINESS IS SHOWING

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-28 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
I-I'll try not too, I don't want to be a burden on you. That wouldn't be right.

Just flew up and grabbed it! I figured it'd come in handy.

[She says it so casually, like it's nothing weird.]

[Voice] HE'S NOT TOUMAN FOR NOTHING

[identity profile] kamiyandisease.livejournal.com 2011-10-29 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't say that. You would never be a burden on me.

[Voice -> written] THE MANLIEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED.

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-29 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[YOU MADE HER CRY, TOUMA. But she will never admit it, even if it's happy tears. So the minute she starts, she stops the voice feed and just starts writing. Whether he keeps up actually talking to her is of course, up to him.

She also is fairly certain she knows the answer, but she asks anyway:]

Are you sure? Do you promise?

[voice]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-29 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? Are you good at it? How long did it take to learm?

[And the unasked question: HELP ME CLAUDE WAN KENOBI, CAN YOU TEACH ME?]

[Action]

[identity profile] chaotic-dirge.livejournal.com 2011-10-29 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
It depends upon how ruined it is.

[He's eaten plenty of semi-burnt things that Lucrecia made, which were at least... edible. More or less.]

[voice]

[identity profile] mirrorblade.livejournal.com 2011-10-30 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
[Help a pretty girl learn to cook? YOU BETCHA.]

I don't think I'm too bad at it. And I guess that depends on how much you want to learn. It takes a lot of practice, but there's plenty of time to do that here.

[Voice]

[identity profile] kamiyandisease.livejournal.com 2011-10-30 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[He doesn't understand why she's suddenly switched to writing, but he'll answer all the same. Enjoy the chords of steel from Touma's end.]

... Of course I do. I never go back on my promises.

[voice]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-31 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose so. I'm just worried that I'll just not be able to learn. I'm trying though.

You're kind, Touma. You're very kind. I wish there were more people like you. I would take care of you too if anything ever happened to you.

...I- uh. I don't think that's possible usually. Can all ponies where you're from do that?

[Action]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-10-31 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh... I wouldn't want it to be eaten anyway. If it gets too burnt I might be able to cut the burnt parts out...

[she's trying to find a way to make what she just made better.]

[voice]

[identity profile] mirrorblade.livejournal.com 2011-10-31 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
Try not to worry so much, and think positively. If you don't, you'll never improve.

[Action]

[identity profile] chaotic-dirge.livejournal.com 2011-10-31 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes, that strategy works on some of Lucrecia's attempts to cook, as well.]

It's worth trying... salvage what you can.

Nope, just pegasus ponies. Unicorns and earth ponies do their own thing.

That's... that's really neat! [Dash you are now AWESOME. How can you contain so much awesome in one small pony?!] Thank you, as well. I don't know what I would have done had you not done that for me.

I'd like to think that part of it is edible...

[voice]

[identity profile] pepepepen.livejournal.com 2011-11-04 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
You think so? Well... okay then! I'll do my best! ...but what's the best way to get the burnt parts off of something you've made?
