[You know what's awesome? Being able to talk and sing. That's what Cloche woke up to today, in fact. Because of that, she will be going around town to get her daily necessities such as food and tea while singing. Everywhere. Implanta included. Anything she can sing, she will be.

[Tear had just been on her way back from the library when an unfamiliar song catches her attention. It wasn't often people sung out loud in her village, and when a voice such as this one does so it's very hard to not focus in on it. After listening some time, she feels she had to at least compliment Cloche.]

[More compliments that aren't expected from people! She likes those. Definitely not used to them, but they're very nice. She'll smile at Tear, and nod.] Thank you. I enjoy singing when I can.

Has something been preventing you from doing so when you wanted to? [Being a melodist herself, Tear could understand the devastation of not being able to as she steps closer to Cloche, trying to not think about the scenarios where such a thing could happen.]

The Malnosso. I was like that when they brought me back here. They're good at taking away things your prize the most. [The one thing that really ticked her off about the whole ordeal as it was.] My guess was that I complained too much.

... Yes, they are. [She tries to not think too hard about what they had done to her, and most of all her friends whenever they wanted to. It wouldn't be right to place all that burden on this woman.]

If you don't mind my asking, what significance does singing have to you?

I am a reyvateil. We sing to create magic from our emotions. It's also used to do more if need be, though the one I had been singing has no effect here. Only in Metafalss after certain conditions are met.

[Those 'conditions' for Implanta include her being in a weakened, near-death state from a more powerful Song being activated, but she'll leave it at that.]
