An instrument that's tuned through singing? I've never heard of such a thing before. [There's plenty of instruments where she's from, to be sure, but this lyre sounds complex. Too bad Sasha isn't here!]

I am a reyvateil. We sing to create magic from our emotions. It's also used to do more if need be, though the one I had been singing has no effect here. Only in Metafalss after certain conditions are met.

[Those 'conditions' for Implanta include her being in a weakened, near-death state from a more powerful Song being activated, but she'll leave it at that.]

[Regardless, Cloche will start singing again per his request, but it's got a purpose this time: to help him. It's a lower-end heal song, but it should take some of the edge off, at least. In the course of her singing, a girl will appear over Cloche's head, bow, and play a violin quickly, passing on the effect to Kirk. Once done, she'll disappear and Cloche will stop singing.]
