It depends on where you're going or what you might be doing. Nice, but comfortable is always the standard, but if you're going to be walking a lot or outside, you'll want comfortable shoes and a coat. As for makeup, less is more. Little splashes of color can be nice, but you don't want to go overboard. Keep it natural.
